This clip evidently comes from the movie Angel Heart.

Angel Heart is a 1987 mystery-thriller film written and directed by Alan Parker, and starring Mickey Rourke, Robert De Niro and Lisa Bonet. The film is adapted from the novel Falling Angel by William Hjortsberg, and is generally faithful to the novel with the exceptions being the introduction of a child of Epiphany Proudfoot conceived at a voodoo ceremony by “a devil”, and that the novel never leaves New York City, whereas much of the action of the film occurs in New Orleans.

A highly atmospheric film, Angel Heart combines elements of film noir, hard-boiled detective stories and horror.

Elizabeth Hurley is an English model and actress who became known as a girlfriend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. Born in Basingstoke, Hurley was a struggling actress in 1987, when she met Grant while working on a Spanish production called Remando Al Viento. In 1994, Grant became the focus of worldwide media attention due to the global box office success of his film Four Weddings and a Funeral. Hurley accompanied him to the film’s London premiere and was noted for wearing a plunging black Versace dress held together with gold safety pins. According to The Guardian, Hurley was “then known as ‘Hugh Grant’s girlfriend,’ now known as ‘Hugh Grant’s former girlfriend,’” due to their high-profile romantic relationship that ended in 2000.

The highlight of Hurley’s professional life has been her association with the cosmetics company Estée Lauder. The company gave Hurley her first modeling job at the age of 29 and has used her as a model for its products, especially perfumes such as Sensuous, Intuition, and Pleasures, since 1995. Her best known cinematic work was as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers’ hit spy comedies, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley currently models and designs an eponymous beachwear line. In 2002, Hurley had a son.

At age 16, she began her career as a fashion model. Diaz signed with top modeling agency, Elite Model Management. After graduating high school, she went to work in Japan and met video director Carlo de la Torre. On her return to America, she moved in with him. For the next few years, her modeling took her around the world, working for contracts with major companies.

At the age of 21, Diaz auditioned for Jim Carrey’s The Mask. To her own surprise, and with no previous acting experience, she was cast as the female lead. Immediately after getting the part, she signed up for acting lessons.

Over the next three years, she won roles in low-budget, independent films, such as The Last Supper, Feeling Minnesota, and She’s The One.

She then regained mainstream success with My Best Friend’s Wedding and There’s Something About Mary, and won critical acclaim for Being John Malkovich, which earned her Best Supporting Actress nominations at the Golden Globes, the BAFTA Awards and the SAG Awards.

Diaz has also starred in the hit adaptation of Charlie’s Angels and its sequel, and she voiced a lead character in Shrek and its sequel, for which she earned $10 million. In 2001, she won nominations for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards and the AFI Awards for Vanilla Sky. For Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, she became the second actress (after Julia Roberts) to earn $20 million for a role; the film under-performed at the box office.

Marina Sirtis is a British-American actress who is most noted for playing the human/betazoid Counselor Deanna Troi on the television and film series Star Trek: The Next Generation. She starred with Denise Crosby who has also graced this site with her beauty.

Sirtis started her career as a member of the repertory company at the Connaught Theatre, Worthing, West Sussex in 1976. Directed by Nic Young, she appeared in Joe Orton’s What the Butler Saw and as Ophelia in Hamlet.

Before her role in Star Trek, Sirtis was featured in provocative, sexually-themed supporting roles in several movies. In the Faye Dunaway film The Wicked Lady, she engaged in a topless whip fight with Dunaway. In the Charles Bronson sequel Death Wish 3, Sirtis’s character is a rape victim. In the film Blind Date, she appears in a topless scene as a prostitute who is murdered by a madman.

She has an established record of British television work, appearing in Minder, Raffles, and The Return of Sherlock Holmes among other things. She played the stewardess in the famous Cinzano Bianco television commercial starring Leonard Rossiter and Joan Collins, in which Collins was splattered with drink.
